Anthony David Gonzalez (born August 25, 1970) is an American former tight end in the NFL. Gonzalez played in the National Football League from 1997 through 2003. He is one of the NFL's most efficient tight ends as well as third-best overall receiver, he's been ranked as the NFL's leading tight end in terms of yards received, receptions made, etc.

Tony Gonzalez serves as a FOX sports studio analyst. Gonzalez has been a regular guest presenter on FOX NFL KICKOFF in the start of the NFL's season in 2017. The show, which lasts for an hour, is a precursor to FOX NFL Sunday, which airs each Sunday starting at 11 am ET, in the NFL Season.
Gonzalez's claim to be retiring from the NFL following 2013 is not the case. On the 15th of March 2013, Gonzalez agreed to sign with the Falcons an agreement for two years worth $14,000,000. With the retirement of Randy Moss, 37-year-old Gonzalez was the leader of the NFL's active players in yards receptive.
